Meet the Kirk Veterinary Service Staff
VETERINARIAN/PRACTICE OWNER
Hello! My name is Dr. Kelly Kirk. I grew up in Mitchell, Indiana. I attended Purdue University where I earned my BS in Biology in 1992 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1995. I established Kirk Veterinary Service, Inc. in Orleans, Indiana in 1996. I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of the Human-Animal Bond Veterinarians.
My husband Jamie and I are proud parents of triplets. Krista is a licensed school social worker, Austin is a sheet metal union apprentice in San Diego, and Tyler has joined me in practice as a veterinarian.
We also have an array of pets at home: one very spoiled English Bulldog, Zoey; three house cats: Philly, Chance, and Persimmon. Plus, we have a variety of farm animals, and we also added ostriches to our farm. I am an avid snowmobiler and enjoy boating, hiking, flower gardening, and reading.

Tyler is the son of Dr. Kelly Kirk. Over the years, he has spent a lot of time at the clinic. Tyler graduated from Purdue University in May of 2021 with a double major in Biology and Animal Science. After his undergrad, Tyler earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University in May of 2026.
Tyler married his high school sweetheart, Kortni. Together, they have two dogs: Gibby and Bruno, 3 cats: Smudge, Crumb, and Perry, and a tortoise, Nico.

Anita has been at Kirk Veterinary Service for over 17 years and is in charge of the day-to-day aspects of life at the clinic. Anita and her husband have three children: twin girls, Mackenzie and Madison, and a son, Tristan. Anita's family also has several pets: Theo, a Texas Heeler; Bella, a Blue Heeler; Rosie, a Red Heeler; Tucker, an Aussiedoodle; and several farm animals, including horses, pigs, and cows.

After graduating from Purdue University with her Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology and completing her Veterinary Technician National Examination, Jaclyn joined the Kirk Vet team in May 2016.
Jaclyn was born and raised in Paoli. She married her high school sweetheart, Tyler. She has a 6-year-old daughter, Ellie, a 3-year-old daughter, Ava, and a 5-month-old son, Jackson. Jaclyn enjoys raising cattle, hunting, and helping out around the family farm. Jaclyn and her husband have 2 dogs: Maggie and Rusty.

Amber started with us as our Mitchell High School student intern for the 2019-2020 school year. She went on to attend Purdue University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in veterinary nursing in May of 2024. She completed her Veterinary Technician National Examination, earning her Registered Veterinary Technologist license.
At home, she has a senior Pit Bull named Frankie, a Basset Hound named Moose, an orange cat named Ronald, and a Siamese cat named Robbie. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family, photography, concert-going, and thrifting.

Teresa, or "Mama T," has been at Kirk Veterinary Service for over 20 years and is responsible for taking care of our crazy crew. She is truly everyone's loving grandma
Mama T has two children, Jessica and Matt, and four grandchildren, Max, Lenora, Beatrice, and Alice. She also has several pets: Angie, a Lab Mix, Jasmine & Gus, Aussie Doodles, and four cats: Bob, Kevin, Emma Lou, and Wyatt, a Maine Coon!

VETERINARY TECHNOLOGIST STUDENT
Katie started with us as a high school student intern for the 2021-2022 school year. She graduated from Orleans High School in 2022. She went on to attend Purdue University and is working on her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Nursing. Katie will graduate from Purdue in May of 2027. She continues to work at the clinic when she is home from college.
Katie has two black labs named Bumble and Bougie. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, camping, and taking her dogs on golf cart rides around town.

Jade started with us as a high school intern through Paoli High School. She graduated from Paoli High School in 2024. She graduated from the Indiana Vet Tech Institute in March of 2026. Jade is also a Certified Veterinary Assistant through TVMA.
She has 2 pets, Lucy and Ollie. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors and painting.

Lilly started with us as a high school student intern with the Lost River Co-op during the 2024-2025 school year. Through the Lost River Co-op, Lilly was able to obtain her certification to be a Certified Veterinary Assistant. Lilly graduated from West Washington High School in 2025. She now attends Ivy Tech’s Veterinary Nursing Program and plans to graduate in 2027.
Lilly shows cows and pigs at the 4-H fair. She has a mini golden doodle named Stella. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and shopping.

Jayden started with us as a high school student intern with Orleans High School during the 2024-2025 school year. She attends Purdue University and plans to major in Animal Science.
Jayden has two dogs: Harlow, a Chihuahua/Miniature Pincher mix, and Augie, a Papillon. She enjoys running, painting, and reading in her free time.

Mackenzie started working at the clinic in March of 2022. She attended West Washington High School and graduated in May of 2022. Mackenzie earned an associate's degree in Nursing in December 2025 at Galen College of Nursing. She is now working on her Bachelor’s in Nursing.
Mackenzie and her boyfriend, Garrett, have two dogs: Remy, a Golden Retriever, and Theo, a Texas Heeler. You can find her spending time with her family or playing pickleball.

Madison started working at the clinic in March of 2022. She attended West Washington High School and graduated in May of 2022. Madison earned an associate's degree in Nursing in December 2025 at Galen College of Nursing. She is now working on her Bachelor’s in Nursing. She is now working on her Bachelor’s in Nursing.
Madison and her boyfriend, Cameron, have a Rottweiler named Odin. You can find her attending pig shows with her boyfriend, spending time with her family, or playing pickleball.

RECEPTIONIST/ INVENTORY SPECIALIST
Jennifer is usually one of the first faces you see whenever you visit us. She joined our team in August of 2024. She is a Providence High School alumni. She brings a variety of skills to our team, from experience in restaurant management to process supervisor for Amazon, and she currently owns and operates a small business through Scentsy.
She has been with her husband, Jeremy, for 13 years. They have 4 kids: Rachel (son-in-law- Harrison), Chelsea, Kaden, and Adyson. She lives on a family farm. They show cattle and pigs. Oftentimes, you will get to see her dog, Max, who enjoys spending time at the office.

Lindsey is also one of the first faces you see whenever you visit us here at Kirk Veterinary Service. Lindsey is an Orleans High School graduate. Before starting at Kirk Vet, Lindsey worked at the French Lick Stables for ten years.
Lindsey loves to spend time with her husband, Jason, and son, Carter. She lives on a farm with four horses, goats, chickens, and plenty of barn cats. You can find Lindsey riding horses and spending time with her family.

RECEPTIONIST
Krista is the daughter of Dr. Kelly Kirk. She has spent her whole life in the clinic, but became an employee in May 2018. You’ll see her on weekends working as a receptionist. She graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, in 2021. She majored in Human Development and Social Relations. She went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Social Work and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan’s MSW program in August of 2023.
Krista has one dog, Jovi, who is a certified therapy dog. They are certified through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. She hopes to be able to use her Jovi as she works in the therapy field.

Astin is one of the newest faces here at the office. She graduated from West Washington High School in 2013 and later spent two years in New Jersey, where she worked at a Dayhab supporting adults who need extra care, a role that strengthened her passion for helping others.
She has been married to her husband, Griffen, for one year, and together they share a lively home with three dogs, Auggie, Winnie, and Cooper, and one cat named Douglas.
In her free time, Astin enjoys drawing and painting, getting lost in a good book, browsing her favorite shops, and exploring the outdoors through hiking with Griffin.
